Hi!

My humans are looking to find someone to care for me and the few plants while they go away for 10 days.

My name is Rosette, I'm 7 years old and a French cat but will comply to English as well. I'm an easygoing and quiet girl, yet curious so like to check stuff out. I enjoy being pet, cuddles and hanging around my humans, but on my terms and schedule. In the morning, I like to eat wet food, a little bit of dry food and a fresh bowl of water. I'll munch on my dry food and drink water throughout the day. Before going to bed at night, treats are a must! I'm a little shy at first when meeting new humans but if you work from home, I might come check it out and be your lazy assistant for a while.

I don't really go outside in the winter as I don't like to get my paws wet or if it's too cold. Sometimes I'll go out for 5 minutes, or less, to check it out and that's good enough for me! This usually happens in the evening while my human is watching TV. I like to keep warm during the daytime and/or at night when not with my humans...my hiding spot is on top of a box near the warm air ducts in the laundry room!! Occasionally I like to play with some toys, but it depends on my mood that day.

Like everyone, I don't always feel good so I might have a hairball moment but not very often. And finally, I like to have my litter box cleaned every 2 days and the sand changed every second weekend.

Lastly, we have a few small plants (3 jades, 2 shamrocks and 2 unknown green plants) that will need to get watered once a week at minimum. We receive the odd snail mail and weekly flyers that would need attention.

Our house is located the nice quiet neighbourhood of Blackburn Hamlet (Ottawa), has 4 bedrooms, an office, 2.5 bathrooms and a finished basement. If you like to go for walks, we have lots of walking paths which are easily accessible. The essentials (grocery, bank, gas, pharmacy, dollar store, library, etc.) are located just down the hill, a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute car drive. If you don't have a car, no worries, the local bus stop is just at the corner of our street!
