Hello! We are Matt & Evelyn, a fun-loving couple seeking a house sitter for our cat (aka baby girl) Kali. While Kali is very sweet and cuddly, she is quite a shy and anxious cat and therefore, will need time to warm up to you until she feels comfortable to "let her hair down". She loves boxes, playing with the laser and her favourite strings, and rolling around in the sun. Pet care for Kali will include feeding her 1-2 a day, changing her water, cleaning her litter and playing and spending time with her when you can :) She is quite a low maintenance cat, and would likely just enjoy your company while we are away on our vacation.

We currently live in a 2 bedroom unit on the main floor of a house right off of the bustling Geary Avenue (Geary/Ossington), where one bedroom is used for sleeping and the other is for an office. You will find that our neighbourhood is nice & calm, but still is accessible to transportation (the 63 Ossington bus is just only 2 mins walk away), restaurants and bars right on Geary like Dark Horse Cafe, North of Brooklyn Pizzeria and Blood Brothers brewing.

While we are away, the house is yours to enjoy - fully equipped with Netflix, Crave & Disney Plus, board games, an enclosed backyard patio with lights, fire pit, and grill if the weather is warm enough (provided you clean up after yourself). We also have two working stations with monitors, keyboards and ergonomic chairs in case you are going to be working remotely during this time.
