Hi! Looking for someone with a calm and gentle nature to come and stay in my home and look after one very shy rescue cat while I am away. It is important to me that our home and kittie is well taken care of so I can relax and enjoy my time away knowing that everything is as it should be.
We live in a safe and quite neighborhood in the North part of Ancaster, Ontario. The house is a detached two story with a private backyard surrounded by a lot of trees. The guest room has a queen bed, large dresser and full empty closet. There are a number of hiking trails nearby and you can walk to the historic part of town for shopping and exploring.
Responsibilities would include:
Caring for 1 rescue cat. Feeding/water and cleaning of bowls and litter box morning and night, play time, sitting together, offering comfort.
• Watering inside and outside plants/garden
• Bringing in the mail
• Cleaning up after yourself and leaving the house as you
found it, neat, clean and tidy.
My female cat was born feral and is very shy. She needs to be cared for by someone who is calm, quiet and patient. While she may show interest in going outside, she must be kept inside at all times. If you let her out, you will lose her. She will not come to you or allow you to pick her up she will be frightened .
Mollie, is a diluted orange tabby, is a bit skittish, and frightens easily, and is known to hide from strangers. While she has made great progress from her feral days and sleeps with me, she does not trust strangers easily.
Please note this is not an Airbnb unit. Please do not invite additional guests to stay and no parties or loud music as it is upsetting to both the neighbours and Mollie.
• No children. No other animals
• No smoking, vaping, marijuana, drugs.
• Police check and references required.
If you feel all of the above sounds good to you, I look forward to hearing from you soon! :)
