Garden Bay British Columbia

Our house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home on 1 acre in Garden Bay. One bedroom is used as storage, 2nd bedroom is a home gym and the master bedroom has a king sized bed with ensuite that has a walk in steam shower. The house had a major reno done this winter so it's new and clean. We have a wood stove for our main source of heat but also electric baseboard heaters. Portable air conditioner available for master bedroom if needed. Spring here can sometimes be pretty warm and sometimes it's cold.

We have one 8.5 year old chesapeake bay retriever named Whitney. She's generally pretty lazy and likes to sleep most of the time but also loves a walk. She is great off leash on the back trails and can go outside by herself to potty.

We have 2 cats. Freddie (orange) is a kitten, he will be 8 months at the time of the sit. And Howie (grey) will be 1 year and 3 months. We adopted these two together from the spca in Feb 2025. They are pretty young still so lots of energy and will have moments of play together and of course sleep a lot too. They can be a little active at night but are used to being locked out of the bedroom. The dog will want to be in the bedroom with you. The cats are litter box trained and are inside only cats.

We do have a couple house plants that probably won't need any care but do so at your own discretion.

We are located a 5 min walk or 30 sec drive from Garden Bay lake. And 3 more lakes within a 5 min drive. I have one inflatable paddle board that you are welcome to use. There are also some great walking and hiking trails near by including Mount Daniel and Pender Hill.

We have a 1 bedroom rental suite on the bottom floor of our house. It's completely seperate and our tenant is a very quiet and sweet lady in her 70s.
