I have enjoyed seeing beautiful parts of Canada & communities I would not otherwise have enjoyed. I will continue searching these kind of sits in my travels.
Just an added note: Non-smoker.
I would like to add and put out a call for a a sit in Rural Canada, Farm, Parks, cottage,, Etc. possibly long term. open for discussion. if you have a farm site with a decent home that you don't want to deteriorate. Perhaps a Mom, Dad. Grand Parent on site that it would be just great having eyes around if they need help ? (The distance I'm willing to travel will be based on the length of time and of course the condition's of the overall sit ) I believe my reviews are favourable and you'll find Someone that you will realize you can trust . I think there's a need for this.
Check my reference's knowing some of these I have had repeat sits or requests to re-sit with them.
These folk's/home owner's have found they were comfortable with me in their home, trusted with their pets & valuables.
I have a sit this winter where the folks are going away for 3-4 months were I'll be until spring & available sometime in April, 2025.
This sit produced itself because last winter, the folks lost a tremendous amount of tools and equipment after their farm was broken in to and robbed. "Just Food for thought" ! Please keep me in mind,
I would like to have a small garden space if possible for a summer sit; That's not an absolute requirement.

*Home sitting allows me to visit places & be part of some amazing communities in western Canada & New Zealand. I like to find some long sits, as they allow me opportunity to get out to enjoy and explore communities once I get comfortable in my sit; at the same time attending to your home, animals & pet family.
My last sit in Saskatchewan was for several weeks with two fantastic boys. Kulu & Kupa.
A 13 year old Golden Retriever and 4 year old brown with white springer; Just great guys to take care of & Lots of fun.
Winter 2023/24 I enjoyed sitting on a Horse Ranch In the Alberta foothills.
I’m surprised Working with those horses for a few months, how much I enjoyed them. As I gained their confidence, they build mine. Horses were once a part of our family but not really mine until now. Handling horses I found has a lot to do with your approach and respect; it was quite a rewarding experience that I'm hoping to repeat.

I am newly retired, looking forward to house sits & caring for your pets. Hoping I can explore other parts of CDA, their communities and what they may offer in the uniqueness of each . Perhaps one, I will choose to move to.

I've spent several summers in the Canadian Rockies, hiking Western CDN National Parks. Those earlier ventures still draw me to the mountains in BC & Alberta Canada where I love.
In my early years I built my first home at 22, renovated and owned a few homes over 40 years.
Construction and maintenance position's are all part of who I am.
A love of animals big and small as well .
I'm a Dog lover but cats seem to like me .
I spent younger years working on a mixed grain and cattle farm. A bit of experience with horses, which you can ask me about.
I'm able to trouble shoot if something arises unexpected in your home from my experience.
And I can cook and actually keep a house surprisingly clean in the kitchen & elsewhere, Surprise, you won't be surprised not to see your home as you left it.

I have cared for, built and renovated my own homes for 41 years. Building my first house at 22yrs of age. I took pride and enjoyed taking care of and designing great back yards especially my last home .
I retired at an earlier age in 2021. My goal is to travel now, at least for a while.
