As a house sitter, I've cared for; dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, horses, fish, rabbits, birds (budgies, parrrots ) ... and even milked a cow.

Raised in the country, I'm comfortable with animals and/or rural settings. I've also tossed a few bails of hay over the years, while visiting relatives. I have my own vehicle.(SUV). Previous home owner, (for over a decade), and have been told I have a 'lot of tools for a chic' thus well aware of ins and outs of home maintenance, and had a lush & thriving garden. My father has a diploma in horticulture and I learnt a thing or two about plants over the years. I've rescued more than one struggling plant and nursed it back to vibrancy. I also have experience giving pets medication, and even bandaged a scrape or two.

I work primarily from home and thus have some flexibility to my routine and location.

While I"m new to this website - I was a member years ago (on another website) and have house sat oodles of times. Some references are uploaded, in the photos section - my apologies for the split screen. I have also house sat for friends - be it a weekend get away and once for seven months, so I could over see some maintenance projects in their second home.

For animal sits - my record is six weeks with 21 huskies at the same time. That was fun and a unique sit, and even involved a bit of nursing when there was a few scrapes after a tangle.

Personally, I enjoy walks, swimming, yoga. I've done 10-day silent meditation sits and gone interior camping on my own, so not opposed to being someplace remote or on my own (so to speak). I don't; smoke, vape or drink.
University educated. Born here in Ontario.

I know dogs/pets come in different sizes, my default is to keep them off the furniture and to feed them out of their food dish, instead of encouraging them to beg for scraps.
