Carly & Blake

Hello! We are Carly and Blake; a global pet and home sitting team whose home-base is on a large island in Northern Ontario, Canada. We are first and foremost, animal and nature lovers. We immensely enjoy establishing a loving bond with animals and gaining their trust and love. We strive to give pets a stay-cation while their owners are away; with much love, cuddles, play, and outdoor walks and activities! Whether we are caring for your pets and home, or home only, we are always respectful, quiet and clean, and only want the best for your home and pets. We will adapt to the animal's regular schedule for walks, bathing, medical care, etc. We also enjoy special activities if the animal enjoys things like swimming or going to special outdoor areas as we are lovers of the outdoors!

Together we have travelled across Canada and have gone abroad for pet sitting several times over the last few years. We have a lot of experience; including with puppies and assisting in thier training, many rescue dogs and cats, large and small dogs ranging across all ages, multiple animals at a time, etc.

Blake: Blake grew up in the Greater Toronto area with animals all around him. From his Father's Golden Retriever Abigail, who couldn't get enough of swimming and outdoor adventures, to his Mother's three cats, two dogs, and a potbelly pig! (plus or minus a few more!). Where we now live, Blake (and now Carly) has been the go-to cat-sitter and property manager for a couple who have 3 cats and a remote off-grid home with a large vegetable garden. Blake absolutely loves playing and having fun with animals.

Carly: Carly grew up in Northern Ontario and was an animal lover from the beginning! She lived in Europe (mainly the Netherlands) for about 8 years. Upon returning to Canada in 2020, she regularly walked shelter dogs for about 2 years. Carly started her pet sitting journey sitting for various family friends with dogs and cats for days to weeks at a time. She has a lot of dog handling experience with dogs of various sizes and behavioural issues, and has a lot of patience and love to give all animals!

We have experience with:

- Off-grid living (present home)
- Living and travelling abroad and within Canada
- Rescue dogs and behavioural issues
- Administering/applying medication
- Gardening and plant care
- Short term and long-term pet sitting

- Do not own a vehicle, so would need to be able to walk, take public transit, or, if in Canada, borrow your vehicle if this is something you would be open to (Carly has a full (G) Ontario, Canada drivers licence).

We usually receive compensation of some kind, which is usually a discussion to find something that works for both parties.
