Hello, everyone- We are a mature, clean and quiet couple, now living in BC after moving to Canada from Scotland. Jenn is Canadian and Mike is English and we have been together since 2011.

We used to live on the Isand of Luing, on the west coast of Scotland, where we owned and operated our successful hospitality business providing self catering holiday accommodation. We are experienced with small boats and spent a lot of our summers beach cleaning and fishing.

Now we are back in Canada to be closer to Jenn’s parents and before we settle down we'd like to spend a couple of winters exploring western Canada, and house sitting seems like a good way to get to know unique, remote or special places.

Jenn likes to grow vegetables and would love to look after your indoor and outdoor plants as required. She also has previous work experience with horses and is happiest in peace and quiet.

Mike likes to meet many different people and will be very good at keeping you informed of goings on at home while you are away.

We both like animals and would be happy to care for dogs, cats, horses, poultry and small livestock. We are comfortable with wood heat, have our own 4x4 transportation and we do not smoke or party - we like a quiet life!

We are both hard working, conscientious, practical and self sufficient and whilst we don't mind urbanization we much prefer being rural with the peace and quiet.

Jenn and Mike were absolutely amazing house/farm sitters. I was so anxious about going away but they cared for my eclectic group of beasties beautifully. They kept me reassured with the odd picture from home whilst we were away and were very quick to communicate if they needed more information. I would recommend them without hesitation for any other farm/house sitting gigs.
