Hi,

My husband and I are full-time housesitters, providing assistance to homeowners who wish to have dedicated care for their pets; and experienced management of their homes.

I'm a retired dental hygienist and Rick is a retired executive from the federal government of Canada. We are non-smokers, in excellent health and with stellar references. Due to Rick's work with the federal government, his police check is from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), where he attained the government's highest security level in the course of his work.

My profession also required that I maintained a complete police check. As well, we both have our Trusted Traveler (NEXUS) Cards, issued by the United States Department of Homeland Security.

We have many outstanding reviews from house and pet care experiences attained through other housesitting websites over the span of several years.

We are very responsible and caring people, who love animals and take pride in our services.

Comfortable with all power tools and equipment, Rick is a highly experienced builder and handyman with mechanical, electrical and systems operational experience.

Salt water and fresh water pool maintenance and spa tubs are an area that we have substantial experience in.

I am an energetic and fastidious worker, with exemplary care and compassion for people and animals. We are able to care for your pets, home and property to the highest standards.

We hold international driver's licenses for cars and motorcycles. We also have our boating licenses. We are both English and French speaking.

In January 2018, we sold our house in Ontario and are were globetrotting and housesitting full-time until Covid brought us back to Canada in March 2020. For the foreseeable future we are now housesitting only in Canada to homes that allow us to drive to rather than fly.

Susan and Rick were outstanding house and pet sitters! Our rambunctious ginger tom kitten GT loved having their attention and certainly is missing their company. Everyday we were away Susan and Rick sent updates and photos of GT and our house was left in an immaculate condition when they left.
