Richard & Liisa

Hello!

We are Richard and Liisa, an international couple. Richard is 33 years old and from Denmark, Liisa is 30 and from Estonia. We met in France where we both worked temporarily. We are engaged and plan to travel the world a bit before we settle down, starting with Canada through the International Experience program. We plan to travel around Canada, do various housesittings and jobs on our journey, and elope to the mountains to get married somewhere. We already have the visas and plan to land in Canada at the beginning of February. We think housesitting is a great way to start our journey even though we haven't done housesitting before we both have had pets in our families and absolutely love taking care of them.

Currently, Richard works as a production employee in the wind turbine industry, at Siemens Gamesa Denmark. Richard has worked and traveled in various places in the world, and this is now one of the reasons why the next destination is Canada. He loves to travel and explore the world. Richard grew up in a home with lots of different animals, including cats, dogs, ducks, peacocks, cows, and many other wild species that he and his family fed. He loves skiing and playing with drones and GoPro. In addition, he loves being in nature, either hiking or just exploring. In addition, he also loves history and its development. Not only that, he is a fast learner and independent, who wants to make things easier and better for himself and the people around him.

Liisa currently works at CMA CGM as an export shipping specialist. She recently moved to Denmark to live with her fiancé Richard. Liisa grew up in the countryside with many animals including horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. She loves to travel and has been to many countries, including Australia and New Zealand, with a Working Holiday Visa. She has a lot of hobbies - painting and all kinds of creative things, she enjoys gardening and has some knowledge about plants and flowers, she loves reading and often finds peace sitting with a book in front of the fireplace or in the garden, in addition to that she enjoys various activities in the nature such as hiking and exploring.

We are both good with our hands when it comes to hard work, we are reliable and don't stop until the job is done.
We are trustworthy and tidy people and will take good care of your house and animals while you're away.
