Hi! I am looking forward to looking after your home and animals with lots of TLC.
I am retired and I am looking for a place to move out of the hustle and bustle of the city. I also have family in the area, so I'd like to be closer to them. For these reasons, I am interested in the Comox Valley and looking forward to walks (with dogs or alone), and hiking. I'd like to explore the area and see what it offers for retired people ( young at heart retired people!!).
I am very organized, tidy and respectful. I live a quiet life and love the outdoors. I'm also a yoga enthusiast and enjoy writing.

Even though Karen seemed to have a good rapport with the cats, we believe this sit was too much for her. She left after 2 weeks (sit was supposed to be 5 weeks long) and we had to re arrange plans to have the house/cats looked after from far away, not an easy task, but eventually doable thanks to friends/neighbours. She had many complaints even though we left her with names of friends ready to help out quickly. Karen was kind to our cats and may be suitable for a house sit with one average ... MORE

Karen: This was not a fair review. The fragile, senior cat had asthma attacks that were scary and worrying. A senior cat with asthma and bouts of vomiting is not a healthy cat. Karen was a great sitter! She came a day early so we could meet each other and show her around our house. She promptly responded to any communication I sent her before and during the sit. She treated our home with respect.
