Christmas in a peaceful country farmhouse with Barley the cat!
Located in stunning Southern Alberta, 10 minutes from Hwy 2 east of Nanton. 1 hr south of Calgary.

Seeking a lover of cats! No other work to be done other than to feed and entertain Barley the farm boss cat.. Situated less than 10 minutes from Nanton with cafes, grocery, museums, Bomber Command Centre, library & other amenities. One hour to Calgary.

Older farmhouse with 4 cozy bedrooms. Very clean, spacious home filled with art and books surrounded by prairie and mountain views. It s a small acerage with 2 bathrooms, big kitchen, large deck and covered porch with rocking chairs for taking in the quiet fields.

BARLEY is a fun, country cat who likes to get out daily to hunt and wander. She is curious and talkative, pets are ok but she will let you know when she's had enough. She is the boss here and is quite territorial; this makes other pet visitors unworkable unfortunately.

There is a feral cat who came with the farm who keeps to himself. Mr. Biggles has his own outside shelter but will require his water and food topped up every few days.

Someone who knows how rural living goes would be preferred. ie; its dark at night (stars!) & understanding septic maintenance and well water usage - no municipal services means being aware of your consumption and waste.

Of Note: There is no television, but the wifi is great!
