We need a house sitter

Thompson Okanagan - Okanagan-Similkameen

We are looking for a non smoking house sitter or sitters to look after our delightful 10 year old 80 lb. labradoodle. He requires 3 walks a day ( 2 short walks and one 45 minute one) on a leash if not in a dog park or in the hills near our home. We live in a hilly but beautiful subdivision and home has stairs so house sitter must be agile and like walks. There is a dog park about a km away and a good walking path. and many hiking trails in the hills around our subdivision.
Some watering of indoor plants required.
House sitter will need their own vehicle.* There are no buses close by.
Our neighbourhood is very safe and friendly.
Beautiful lake and mountain views from most windows in our home.
Sitters must be clean and tidy housekeepers.
We have had excellent house sitters in the past who have enjoyed sitting for us and embraced our lovely community.
If you enjoy wine, Osoyoos has lots of wineries to enjoy as a few are open by request in the winter. Fantastic neighbours too. Many local groups welcome snowbirds and the gym is always full of seniors trying out various forms of fitness like pickleball. Skating rink and curling rink close by.
A great place to be if you want a drier winter as we get very little snow or rain.

We had a wonderful 2 months at their house. Beautiful comfortable home in a lovely subdivision with spectacular views of the town ,lake and mountains. Friendly people everywhere you go. We were in regular contact with Cheryl during stay. They a great people to visit with. Marley is a total delight. Well behaved, easy going. Easy to care for, friendly. We were so lucky to have you and hope you can housesit again sometime when the weather is better to really showcase our valley.
We can not say enough about how great this house sit was . We felt like family , communication was fast and easy, Marley is a great dog ,easy to take care of . We would love to sit here again .
