I have 3 senior cats to be looked after. No special care such as medication. They use pine litter which can be more time consuming to clean than regular clumping. I heat with wood however there are 2 baseboards heaters. If you are someone who is comfortable with a wood stove, that is a plus. Very quiet area close to the water.
