Nelson British Columbia

My house has 2 bedrooms and a den. A tenant lives in the basement suite and shares the laundry facilities. I live on the edge of a forest with lots of trails above the house. The town of Nelson is below me and is within walking distance. My driveway is quite steep along with most of the streets in Nelson so winter tires are a necessity.
My dog Ivy is a 2 year old Husky, Retriever, Shepard mix and weighs 65lbs. She is a very friendly dog and loves playing with other dogs. She's shy of people unless they have a dog! I usually walk or hike with her off leash on the trails or take her to the off leash dog park by the lake. I would prefer she is not left alone at home for more than 4-5 hours. She loves the car so it's easy to take her everywhere with you.
