Pet Sitter required for 32 days for two, 10 year old, vocal though laid-back INDOOR cat-brothers;

The suite is compact and quiet (more indoor photos coming). There is a small home gym space and small semi-private yard. It is ideally situated across from Okanagan Lake as well as a small swimming beach within 100 feet of the front door. There are a plethora of birds and birds of prey, squirrels, deer and other wildlife which visit the yard and lakeshore daily.

The living area is a fully separate ground level suite (with another person (the homeowner) along with her very friendly dog living in the upper house portion which is separated by a shared, accessible laundry space.

Pet care will consist of twice daily feeding. All meals are homemade and will be prepared in advance and kept frozen in the freezer.
Also twice daily litter box cleaning along with a minimum of 1 hour outdoor enrichment activities for the cats. They are ALWAYS On-Leash whenever outdoors. The yard is partly grassy with hedge bushes and other trees plus a paved portion.

All cat care including feeding, litter box etc will be fully explained and in printed document format. This info will be provided in advance to address questions which may arise prior to the petsit dates.

Minimal plant watering.

I’ll be traveling overseas so all Vet EM numbers along with a local support contact person will be provided.

Important details to consider before applying:

The location requires you to be self-sufficient as a whole but with transportation especially.
Should any pet emergencies arise my vehicle will be made available for this purpose only.

This is a lakefront residential area. The nearest bus stop is 3 klms away. You must provide your own Vehicle and/or ebike as this location is outside the city bus routes.
A convenient parking space is provided.

The road traffic is quite robust in the summer months due to the location and proximity to a major provincial park. This makes walking along the roadside somewhat challenging in places. Ebikes are a very common site on the road especially in the summer months and are a great alternative to driving.
The nearest services including a gas station, grocery store (Buy Low Foods), drive through fast food, drug store, restaurants & gym approximately 3-4 klms away.
There is a waterfront pub/restaurant within 2 klms which also offers ATM access.

The cats are awesome companions and fun to be around, when they are not just being lazy and sleeping half the day away! They will love you just because you’re the one who provides the food.
Come and enjoy the beautiful lake during peak season as well as the abundant wildlife. Vernon has several outdoor summer markets and other summer fun activities.

This is a really special place to just relax and contemplate the wonderful abundance you have attracted.
