We need a house sitter

We are located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Digby, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove, Annapolis Royal and more are easy day trips, and Halifax is 1.5 hours away.

Our house is a main floor apartment (approx 1200 sq ft) in a 1932 house. We have tenants (2 women) on the upper floor, very quiet. The house is in semi-rural Nova Scotia, near the Greenwood Air Force base. Our village has a Thai restaurant, a Post Office, and Drugstore, so a car is necessary but grocery stores are only 10 minutes away. We have one elderly cat who doesn't do much except eat and sleep. Her litter box has to be cleaned daily. There will be at least one garbage and recycle pickup to be organized. We have several garden beds with easily accessible hoses, to be watered daily depending on the weather, and perhaps some lawn mowing, again dependant on the weather. Also house plants to be watered.

We need someone here for the dates specified but if a sitter is interested they would be welcome to come a week before or stay on afterwards.

Kathie and Jim are fantastic hosts and I'd sit for them again anytime if the dates worked out. Monkey is quite independent but she does love to be brushed. I stayed for 2 days before they left and had ample opportunity to explore the area and experience the Annapolis Valley and beyond. Kathie has many house plants but they were easily managed once a week and the outside flowers and vegetables only required a few minutes of watering each day.
